So, do not be concerned about installing Easy Pullout Shelves....I'm sure that you will successfully install and love your pullout shelves.

First...

Your pullout arrives FULLY ASSEMBLED...Simply position it in the cabinet opening so the front of the box is aligned with the front (inner) edge of the cabinet and check that there is approximately equal clearance on each side.

Next, place your hand on the center of the pullout and slide the box out about halfway.....until you can see the back [2] feet.

Next...

Reach over the back of the box and attach the [2] back "feet" of the slides to the cabinet floor or shelf.

NOTE: You will need a Magnetic Bit Holder so the screw will stay on the Phillips head bit when held upside-down.

This one works great and is only 3” long: DEWALT DW2054 1/4-Inch Compact Magnetic Drive Guide. It can be found on Amazon, Home Depot and many other sites and costs about $5.

Lastly...

Roll the box forward so you can see the [2] front feet and attach them to the cabinet shelf or floor. 

DONE!...And onto your next pullout installation.

How to Measure and Order

Measure the Clear Width and Depth of the cabinet opening....Add to Cart....DONE

Could this be simpler?...quicker?...easier?     

1. Measure Width of Cabinet Opening

Measure the unobstructed width of the cabinet opening where you will be installing the pullout.

If there is a hinge that protrudes into the width of the opening, measure the "clear" width from the edge of the hinge to the other side of the cabinet opening.

On your pad (or our form below), note the location of the cabinet opening [L-Sink-Bottom] and note its CLEAR Width.

2. Measure Depth of Cabinet Opening

Measure the unobstructed depth of the cabinet opening.

Check to see if there is a pipe or other obstruction in the back.

If so, measure CLEAR depth from the obstruction to the front inside edge of the cabinet.

On your pad, note the opening's CLEAR Depth.

3. Order the pullout

Select the pullout type [with or without the optional 5"h Back Stop or 6"w Mini Shelf].

Enter a quantity of [1]... so you can identify the location of each pullout

Add to Cart.

Enter the LOCATION of the cabinet opening. [This will be printed on a label underneath the pullout]

Enter CLEAR Width and Depth of the cabinet opening.

Order other pullouts...then,  CHECKOUT.

Your Pullouts will arrive in 2-3 weeks after ordering via UPS Ground.

Frequently Asked Questions....and answers.

an adjustable shelf?

Prior to installing your pullout, the adjustable shelf needs to be secured so it does not tip up when the pullout is rolled forward.

You can purchase an Adjustable Shelf Kit here ... or you can get the L brackets and screws at your hardware store.

[Alternative: Just about any screw that is partially screwed into the cabinet wall will stop the shelf from tipping up...Be careful not to have the screw tip come out on a visible outside part of your cabinet.] 

I put [1] L bracket on top/back of the Adj. Shelf...and add a second L bracket if the shelf is 24" wide or more.

I also attach [1] L bracket behind each of the front [2] shelf pins.

have a partial shelf or no shelf at all?

Easily add a new shelf to your cabinet...just attach [4] L brackets to the cabinet walls and then attach the new shelf onto them.

You can purchase a New Shelf Kit custom cut to your provided measurements.

The New Shelf is made with 9-ply Birch with a Clear Coat finish and a bull nosed front edge (just like the pullout)...and is an attractive addition to your cabinet. You receive all the hardware needed and an easy-to-use template so you will attach the [4] L brackets at the same height in minutes.

Or, you can buy (and cut) the plywood and source the needed hardware locally.

Either way, with a new shelf installed, you simply attach the Easy Pullout Shelf on it....like every other one...perfectly installed in minutes!

Can I get local measure and installation?

Just because our pullouts are easy to install does not mean that everyone wants to install them.

Any local handyman is able to accurately measure and perfectly install our pullout shelves.

FYI...Handymen typically have a minimum visit charge/hourly rate. It has been our experience is that, for just a few pullouts, clients often view the cost of this in-home measure and installation as too $$/pullout.

Consequently, there is a [5] pullout order minimum if you want US to arrange for a local handyman service.

If YOU arrange for your local service, there is no minimum order quantity.

MEASURE/ORDER ERROR?

Mistakes happen....

If we sent you the wrong size per your order, we will remake and ship the new pullout per your original measurements asap at our expense....and you keep our mistake.

If you ordered the wrong width or depth, the pullout cannot be resold since these are custom made to your cabinets. Consequently, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds for errors in ordering.

However, we will provide a 30% discount on the repurchase of the correct size pullout. Standard shipping is at your expense.

Pullouts are very helpful in any cabinet ...even if the pullout is somewhat smaller than optimal size for that opening. Often, you can find another cabinet opening where the mistaken pullout will fit.

If you cannot find an alternative location within your cabinets, that pullout will always be appreciated by a friend, relative, elderly neighbor, etc.

Why do you not use "soft Close" slides?

Soft close slides are a great feature for cabinet drawers.

But, they were not designed to be used for pullout shelves.

Unlike cabinet drawers, the pullout is always behind a cabinet door that needs to be closed...only after the pullout has completely returned into the cabinet.

If a pullout is made with soft close slides, it takes a few seconds for the pullout to fully retract. Inevitably, the cabinet door will be shut by someone before the pullout has fully returned...thereby scratching the inside of the cabinet door and possibly damaging the corner of the pullout.

Also, "soft close" slides could also be called "hard open" slides...as they require a much firmer "pull" on the pullout to get started than our roller bearing slides require. This need for an extra strong pull can be a bit of a problem for homeowners with arthritis or other issues.

And lastly, the soft close mechanism is more likely to fail than our heavy duty roller-bearing slides. Some use a liquid-filled piston that can leak. We couldn't offer our Unconditional 10 Year Warranty if we used soft close slides.
